fltk-utf8 is a modified version of fltk-1.1.6.
 

fltk-utf8 is not maintained anymore. It has been replaced by the official FLTK 1.3.x release.

Support to display Unicode UTF-8 strings has been added.

Under X11 XIM is used to enter Unicode character. You can enter single byte character (i.e. French) or double byte character (i.e. Japanese), they both will be converted to UTF-8.

Under Windows native functions are used to convert locale input to Unicode, then it is converted to UTF-8. Under win95/98 Global IME is supported.

The Fl_Table widget has been included. There is a new Fl_Tree widget too.
